Salmosin

연세대학교 김두식 교수가 대한민국 살무사의 독극물에서 발견한 천연물질로, 혈액 항응고제나 항암제 등의 약용물질을 생산하는 데에 사용된다.

해당 물질을 처음 소개한 국제학술지 상에 분명히 "cDNA cloning of a novel protein named salmosin from the venom of Korean viper, salmosa (Agkistrodon halys brevicaudus)."라고 쓰여 있다.
